Took an old Tama kit and gave it a facelift with a mirror chrome wrap for our special Halloween KISS tribute show where our band In Custody becomes In Kisstody. My usual kit just didn’t fit the part.
Jamming Sam had great customer service. Instructions very clear. Video helpful. Took about 8 hours of total labor, but was a “labor of love” and very educational. Recommend all drummers try it at least once. Very satisfying to say, “Hey, I did that myself!” Hardest part: removing the eyelets without destroying the badge. Tried dremel tool but didn’t work. Ended up buying a small hand held jigsaw with metal cutting blade. Cut in two places and the eyelets fell right out. Careful not to go too deep and cut the shell!   Thanks again, Sam!
